Non-specific (urtecarial like) skin allergy for the last 5 yrs. Backache since 2-3 yrs ameliorated by pressure and warm/5-6am (<=aggravated) Occipital headache since 5 yrs draft/light/talking/SUN >dark (>better) Patient Stocky Perspiration : Profuse/especially palms while anxious Desires : Ice-creams Aversion : Meat/Eggs Generals Sleep : Sleep disturbed Dreams : Anxious, frightful Specific Fears : Dark, lizards, water. Past History : Enteric fever ---Tubercular Miasm Recurrent Malaria---Tubercular Miasm Family History Father : IHD (ischemic heart disease) Uncle : DM (diabetes) Menstrual History Regular/red blood/1st day-stomach pain and leg pain(refer chief complaint) Staining Indelible (difficult to wash stain) Has undergone medical termination of pregnancy 3 times/done Tubectomy 3 FTND (full term normal delivery)   Life - Space Patient (pt) is a young, tall, fair, well built married women belonging to the Sikh community. Married early having 2 sons and a daughter.   Patient was very co-operative and willing to shed-off the load she has been carrying for a long time. She was married–off at young age of 17 yrs; her husband had known her before marriage and responded positively. Within a year of marriage she had begun to suspect of his extra marital affair. That lady does not have a father and is single. Almost the entire family had known of his affair. They would hint the patient but patient was too immature & always felt that such a thing could not happen to her—one only read or heard about these things. As days passed by she was forced to confront this problem. Her father-in–law was a good person & did not approve of his son’s behaviour. But his support was silent one. Her mother-in law harassed her to a great extent. She supported her son whole-heartedly and compelled patient to accept his affair. At one time patient’s husband proposed to directly split his time into two.   This was not acceptable to the patient. She proposed whatever his affair should remain out of the house and that he should leave her alone and under no circumstance was she just going to agree to this arrangement. The other women would ring her up constantly and speak things which would mentally torture her. Mother in law always instigated pt to agree to this arrangement. Matters deteriorated to the extent that husband would physically abuse the patient. Psychological problems developed in the children as her son started stammering.   Pt had not revealed any of this to her parents because she knew parent’s attitude would be to bear it as one had to spend ones days there only. She was determined to win her husband.   She would constantly dwell on suicidal thoughts and once attempted to swallow tic-20 (rat poison) to end life. Her neighbours alerted her parents that they should come if they wanted their daughter alive. She was taken to her parent’s house for 2 months but she returned as her daughter was only 9 months. In laws constantly complained when she returned. After this things have begun to settle down.   Thermal : Chilly patient   Planning and Programming No special treatment was considered for cyst as she had no problems and had borne children. During the course of interview she was counselled taking into consideration her society, caste and personal wishes. Treatment After repertorization Calc-phos was considered the best medicine. We started with calc-phos 200 3 doses per week. Urtecaria responded first which completely stopped within 3weeks. After 5 months all complaints stopped. One single dose of tuberculinum was given to promote shrinkage of fibroid and cyst. 8 months after the start of treatment patient has discontinued medication and is medically fine. She is however still under observation now for last 5 yrs (visits once in 6 months) and there has been no problem due to fibroid or cyst.
