| Mrs. Hema is a 45 yrs old lady working in a bank in the cash dept. Patient is the 2nd of the 3 siblings, all girls. Father was an employee in a tiles company and was very strict by nature. Mother was a house-wife. Patient shares a good relation with sisters. After marriage patient stayed in joint family and her husband was responsible for his parents. Later they started staying on their own and got a son. Husband also had a brother and sister and now her father-in law was not keeping well. Hence they decided to stay together again which pt also wanted. |
| |
| Now a major part of her earnings went towards the family. As a result spending on personal things was restricted. Patient used to feel internally bogged down by this pressure of responsibility but never voiced it. She did not like fights and was always the peacemaker. Initially it was difficult as her father in law was hot-tempered. The most difficult period was when her sis-in-law was not getting married since she was not good looking. Proposals used to come and go and the atmosphere was tensed. Father in law would be irritated that proposals were not getting materialized. This would in turn affect patient, but would not confide this even to her mother as it would tense them up. She would tell friends.
Then her brother in law started earning and sister-in law got married. They shifted to a better home. However there still remain some responsibilities in terms of monetary help. This irritates the patient that why this should go on? Still she does not verbalize this and has maintained good relations with all family members. |
| |
| Patient describes herself as a very anxious person. Gets more tensed during sons exam. Cannot sleep and feels the alarm will not ring.
Patient is happy with her job though this complaint of bleeding has started they have been her best period and most stress-free. |

| Thalapsi-bursa pastoris 30 given 3doses per day. Bleeding stopped in 3 days. Then Kali-carb 200 was given. Initially only one dose per week for 2 months with placebo. Then daily doses. However this failed. So gave kali-carb 1m single dose per week. Within 4 months all bleeding stopped and menstrual cycle still regular. |
