| Dr. Medha Durge has a degree (5½ years course) in homoeopathy from the University of Mumbai. Even before her medical college she was under the guidance and mentorship of late Dr. M. L. Dhawale one of the pillars of homoeopathy in India. She has been extensively trained by stalwarts in homeopathy like Dr. M. L. Dhawale, Dr. Kasad, Dr. Kumar and Dr. Barvalia. |

| She joined his ICR (Institute of Clinical Research) as a full time physician after completing her degree. She started her private practice and has been practicing for the last 16 years. She practices classical homoeopathy and has varied experience in treating many chronic diseases. |

| Her expertise includes cases of asthma, eczema, vitiligo, irritable bowel syndrome, besides other regular chronic diseases. She believes that homoeopathy is good for acute states like fever also and is able to treat it successfully. |

| In spite of such spectacular results homoeopathy has not got its due place and is looked upon with doubt. Hence she is interested in research. She has one (interesting case) peer-reviewed case published in IJHM (Indian Journal in Homeopathic Medicine) for treating a case of cysticercosis. She is an Associate Member of RCCM UK which is the pioneer center for research in complementary medicine. She has reviewed a few books related to complementary theory which includes Hand Book Of Natural Medicine by Joseph.E.Pizzorno, Jr.Michael Murray and Herb Joiner-Bey of Bastyr University USA. Currently she is doing work on ostesarthritis in collaboration with a UK University. |
